Significant Decreases in Clark Home Prices
Clark's 2018 end of year reporting saw average home sale price plummet 27.69% from the prior year. While the number of days homes were on the market decreased by 8.9%, sales volumes increased by 5.88%in the year 2018.
The 2018 average home sale price was down to $333,820 compared with the prior 2017 $461,648 per house average price.

There was a reported 4.02% drop in the number of homes sold in 2018, with the average home price in Verona down 1.33% to $433,235 compared with 2017 average home prices of $439,078. On the positive side, the time on the market decreased 15.4%.
2019 On Track for Strong Year of Home Sales
The West Orange, New Jersey marked saw an increase of 4.99% for average home sale prices in 2018 coupled with an 11.8% drop in days on the market. With the volume of sales jumping 6.42%, we think this trend could continue.
According to data from the Garden State Multiple Listing Service, the average sale price this year increased to $421,015 compared with 2017’s average sale price of $ 401,021.

The average home sale price in Springfield, New Jersey was $425,563 for the properties that sold between January and April 2018, a drop of less than one percent compared to the same time period in 2017. Average sales price for past year up 8.1% vs. Prior Year
Home sellers in Scotch Plains, New Jersey are cashing out at bigger numbers, with the average sales price up 8.1% for the last twelve months compared to the year before.
According the the Garden State Multiple Listing Service, there were 325 residential homes sold in Scotch Plains for the year ending February 22, 2018. The average sale price was $571,338. This compares to almost the same number of homes some in the prior year (323), but the average sale price was only $527,960.

The Fourth Grade Service Project Collects Cans of Food for Local Charities
As the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots prepared for Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, students at Evergreen Elementary School in Scotch Plains had their own battle.
Fourth graders organized a school-wide can drive through the Souper Bowl of Caring. Students brought cans of soup, fruits, vegetables, beans and more that were placed in collection bins - one labeled for the Eagles and one for the Patriots.
There's no catch for this deal. Wawa is offering free coffee in support of the Eagles up until kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday.
