Quirk publisher Jason Rekulak's hometown visits to Metuchen inspired his charming coming-of-age debut novel, "The Impossible Fortress," which he will read and sign Feb. 8 at Old Franklin Schoolhouse Thomas Wolfe may have said, "You can't go home again," but then, he didn't know Jason Rekulak. The Quirk publisher will return home to Metuchen on Feb. 8 at Old Franklin Schoolhouse to discuss and sign his new 1980s-themed debut novel, "The Impossible Fortress." The charming, funny coming-of-age tale is about a 14-year-old lad from Wetbridge who can deal with computer code a lot better than he can girls.
